Glenda Margaret Frank Elliott
1928 - 2013
Glenda M. Elliott, 85, of Missoula, Montana, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013, at St. Patrick Hospital of heart problems. She was born February 27, 1928, in Sandusky, Michigan, to Orrin H. Frank and Resatta Grauf Frank.
On December 26, 1946, she married Lewis H. Elliott of Monroe, Michigan. She traveled with Lewis for more than 20 years as he served in the military, settling in the Rattlesnake, where they spent the rest of their lives.
Glenda was very active in Messiah Lutheran Church, a member and judge of the Rose Society, WOW, Red Hats, LWML and various sewing and quilting groups.
Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis; daughter, Elizabeth; brothers, Everett and Alton; and sister, Nelda. She is survived by her son, Ronald (Deborah) of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, at Garden City Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 11, at Messiah Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ray Wiegert officiating. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 12, at Fort Missoula Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory.
