Harold Eugene, son of Horace Eugene and Sarah Arabelle Ocobock, was born December 7, 1900 near Republic, Kan., and passed away on November 7, 1966 at the Republic County hospital, at the age of 65 years and 11 months.

He received his education in the Lake public schools north of Republic and has lived on the farm all of his life.

He was united in marriage to Emily Perry on August 27, 1924. To this union five children were born. His first wife died in 1959. In November of 1959 he was united in marriage to Minnie Allen.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, two daughters Marcelle and Myrna and a brother Glenn.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie, two sons, Harold Jr., Goddard, and Donald Eugene of the home, daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Milner, Fresno, Cal., seven grandchildren, three step children, Rav Allen Topeka, Treva Dale, Denver, Wonda Reynold, Denver, six step grandchildren, one brother Loyd of Republic, three sisters, Velma Beem, El Dorado Springs, Mo., Alice Bise, North Platte, Neb., Agnes Windhorst, Deshler, many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the EUB church on November 10 in Republic conducted by Rev. Loren J. Silsby. Interment was made in Lake cemetery.
