Husband of Lucy Henry Page, married 7 November 1823 in Warren County, Kentucky. His second marriage was to Mary (Jennings) Persinger, widow of John Lewis Persinger. Norvell was born in Amherst County, Virginia, the son of William Allcock and Catey Page. Lucy was the daughter of Lindsay Page and Mary "Polly" Campbell Page. All came from Amherst County (and Nelson County, Virginia) to Warren County, Kentucky.
