Herman Joseph Bader, Keokuk, passed away at 4:40 p.m. September 2, 1968. He was dead on arrival at the Graham Hospital. He was born November 11, 1907 in Lewis County, the son of James W. and Emma Zerull Bader. He is survived by four sisters and one brother: Mrs. Thomas (Marie) Brennan, Williamstown; Mrs. Robert (Verna) Pearl, Canton, Mrs. Russell (Louise) McDermott, Canton; Miss Ruth Bader, Moline; and Carl Bader of Canton. He was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church. Services were held at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Kahoka Wednesday, September 4, 1968, Father Louis McCorkle officiating. The pallbearers were Kenneth Pearl, Leo Pearl, Carl Brennan, James McDermott, Joe McDermott and Eston Boudreau. Organist was Mrs. Juanita Watson. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.
