Born June 27, 1925, she was a daughter of Orpha Kratzer and H. Elmer Shoup.
Mrs. McNany married G. Arthur McNany on July 2, 1925, and he preceded her in death on December 18. 1990.
She worked in the Grove City College cafeteria, the Knot-E-Pine Restaurant and was also a homemaker.
Mrs. McNany was of the Presbyterian faith and was a pianist at the Big Bend United Methodist Church.
She was a member of the AARP in Clintonville and the Over 55 Club in Emlenton.
Mrs. McNany enjoyed playing the piano, flowers, traveling and her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Lois R. (Carl R.) Baker of Route 2, Emlenton; six grandchildren, Kenneth R. Baker of Medina, Ohio; Thomas R. Baker of Charlotte, North Carolina; Rebecca D. Baker of Emlenton; Elaine Shaner of Beaver Falls; Ellen (Mark) Logan of Alanta and Elizabeth D'Andre of Ellwood City; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. McNany was preceded in death by a daughter, Audrey H. (Dale) Shaner; two brothers, Ivan Shoup and Clarence Shoup; and three sisters, Jessie (Thomas) Stover; Mary (Lloyd) Stewart and Evelyn (Nixon) Wolford.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home with the Reverend Ralph Turner of the Big Bend United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will be in the Scrubgrass Presbyterian Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to The Gideons, Post Office Box 981, Oil City, Pennsylvania 16301.
