West Morris & South New Berlin: October 28th James Gage, a well-known citizen of the town of Morris after an illness of about five months, passed from earth, where are toils and sufferings, to that land where the good and faithful servant will receive the glad welcome. "Enter thou into the joys of the Lord." Mr. Gage was a good mechanic, a hardworking man, a devoted husband and father. He leaves a wife and a large family of children to mourn their loss. (Published in the Morris Chronicle November 1, 1882)
