Sarah Darby Holland passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 19, 2017. Sarah was born in Austin, Texas on August 25, 1917.
She attended the University of Texas and was an Alpha Xi Delta Sorority Rose. She was a lifelong resident of Austin, a faithful member of Central Christian Church, and a longtime member of Ruh Neb Temple No. 64, Daughters of the Nile.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Darby, and husband George Curtis Holland.
She is survived by son, George "Curtis" Holland, Jr. and wife Sandra; two grandsons, George Curtis Holland III (Curt) and wife, Marci; Travis Asa Holland; great-grandson, Jake Thomas Holland.
Visitation will be held at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 N. Lamar Blvd. Graveside services will be held at Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
