LITTLEFIELD - (Special) - Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Houk, 74, who died at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday in the Brownfield General Hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in the First Methodist Church.

The Rev. Jack Ellzey, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Littlefield Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Hammons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Houk had lived in Littlefield since 1924. Her husband, J.C. Houk, who died in 1955, had operated a grocery store.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. James Walker of Clinton, Md.; sons, Max Houk of Littlefield and Marion Houk of Lubbock; brother, Weaver B. Emmert of Montezuma, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Sallie Peabody of Corpus Christi; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
