Mrs. Lula Love Dies

COLUMBUS -- June 27, 1897
Mrs. Lula Love, wife of Robert M. Love, died suddenly at her home shortly before six o'clock Monday evening. She was in the kitchen working about one o'clock in the afternoon, when she was seized with a stroke of apoplexy, and death soon followed.

Mrs. Love, who was about 45 years old, is survived by her husband, several children, and two brothers, Cicero Duncan and John Duncan. The body was carried to Tabernacle Cemetery, about 12 miles northeast of Columbus, for interment, funeral services having been held there at 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and having been conducted by Rev. T.E. Holcomb, pastor of the First Baptist Church.
