Megan Rene (Dixon) Smith, 29, of Clearfield died Friday, March 29, 2013.

She was born Nov. 23, 1983, in Philipsburg, the daughter of Christopher Dixon of Curwensville and the late Elaine Rene (Luzier) Ward.

She was affiliated with the Kerr Addition United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her father; her husband, Gray Welch, of Missouri; a daughter, Kelsey McBride of Clearfield; and a son, Jaycob Welch of Missouri.

Also surviving are her maternal grandmother, Joelene Luzier of Clearfield; four sisters, Leyna (Ward) Seyler, Amanda Ward, Katie Ward and Lea Ward, all of Glen Richey; one half-sister; and three half-brothers.

She was preceded in death by her mother and paternal grandfather, Sheridan Luzier.

There will be no public visitation.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Kerr Addition United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Brower officiating.

The family suggest contributions be made to the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
