DEATH TAKES ONE OF OLDEST RESIDENTS
Mrs. Christina(sic) Hansen, one of the oldest residents of Manitowoc county, being past 90, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna Gustaveson, at Rapids, yesterday, death being due to general debility.
Mrs. Hansen was a native of Norway and had resided here more than a half century, her late years having been spent with her daughter on the River road. Mrs. Hansen was well known in the county in early days and has many friends among older residents.
Funeral arrangements have not been made.

On the 1900 Rapids census there is a Mrs. Anna Gustaveson and children and
living with her is listed Christian Hansen, Father age 65 and Mrs. Julia, Mother
age 74.
(I believe the newspaper meant Mrs. Christian Hansen who is Julia... it looks like the same woman although his obit doesn't mention being survived by a wife)
