FAMILY FINDS AGED WOMAN DEAD IN BED
Mrs. Theresa Vogel, 85, Dies Suddenly at Home of Son in the Town of Cato

Mrs. Theresa Vogel, 85, making her home with her son, Louis, on the old homestead in the town of Cato was found dead this morning by members of the family, when they went to call her for the morning meal. The aged lady although not in the best of health for the past several months had been up and about as usual on Sunday and her sudden demise was a shock to her family and a large circle of relatives and friends.

Her husband, Alois, preceded her in death 36 years ago, since which time she has been making her home with her children. She was born in Austria in 1846 and came to this country in 1868. She was married to Alois Vogel two months later and they took up their home on a farm in the town of Cato.

She is survived by two sons, Louis on the homestead and Joseph of Marshfield; four daughters, Mrs. Frank Tuschel, Mrs. Frances Kohlbeck and Mrs. Anton Kohlbeck, all of the town of Cato, and Mrs. Joseph Klapatch of Milwaukee, 45 grandchildren and 51 greatgrandchildren.

The remains were removed to the homestead this afternoon from the Kochan funeral parlors at Whitelaw and funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at ten oclock from the St. Marys Catholic church at Clarks Mills. The deceased was a member of the Christian Mothers Society.
