Mrs. McGuire, nee Elsie Miller, was born June 6, 1896, at Cato, daughter of the late John and Sophie Hartmann Miller. She married George McGuire on January 10, 1915 at St. Mary Catholic church, Clarks Mills. He preceded her in death in 1947.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Grace McGuire of Valders; a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Holtz of Thiensville, Wisconsin; a son-in-law, Paul Hagert of Milwaukee; two brothers, Norman Pitchke of Two Rivers and Paul Pitchke of Milwaukee; two sisters, Sister M. Igna of Milwaukee and Leona Pitchke of Milwaukee; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary McGuire Hagert. Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. to the time of services. Prayer service 7 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
