John G. Zukas, 69, of Oregon, Ohio passed away suddenly on Friday, March 29, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Moline, Illinois on December 12, 1943, to George and Johanna (Sharkey) Zukas. John was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He graduated from Northern Illinois University and worked as a Sr. manager most recently with the American Paper Group, Inc.
Surviving are his son, Mark R. (Peggy) Zukas of College Grove, TN; daughter, Suzanne M. Zukas of Oregon, OH; grandchildren, Ella and Lainey Peace and Logan and Morgan Zukas; sister, Johanna (Ray) Schatteman of East Moline, IL; nephew, Shawn (Nicole) Schatteman and great nephew, Blake Schatteman.
