Alice H. Mooney - age 89, of Knoxville passed away on April 4, 2013. Mrs. Mooney was born and a lifelong resident of Knoxville. She graduated from The University of Tennessee in 1960 and was a long time Teacher in the Knoxville City School System. Alice was a member and past Choir Director of Beaver Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was also past Choir Director of Lonsdale and Norwood United Methodist Churches. She was also very active as the wife of a Shriner. Mrs. Mooney was preceded in death by her Husband Harold "H.E" Mooney; parents, Alanzo and Rosa Heifner; Sisters Ruth H York and Retta Mae Iddins. Survived by son, Edward Scott Mooney wife JiaNa of Los Angeles, CA. ; daughter, Sharon Wells of Summertown, TN; granddaughters, Rosa Mae Wells Dixon, and Esther Ann Wakanda Wells; great grandchildren, Gabriella Hope Wells Dixon, and Solea Lacie Rayne Dixon.
