"Jessie R. Goodman, 82, of Phelps, New York, died March 2, 2004 at Clifton Springs Hospital. He was born April 3, 1921 in Lyons, Wayne County, New York to Jesse R. & Jennie Eliza (Ridley) Goodman. He was a member of Phelps Historical Society and the American Legion, a Navy veteran of World War II. He owned Goodman's Corner Store for 21 years' Jesse is survived by his son, Jesse J. (Brenda) Goodman of Williamson, daughter Joan (Larry) Ripley Graham, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his lifelong companion, Thelma Ripley. Spring interment in the Resthaven Cemetery, Phelps, Ontario County, New York."
