Clark Edwards Dies After Short Illness.

Clark Edwards, a young man, 17 years of age, passed away at the home of his mother, Mrs. E. D. Bishop, in the Mountain Springs – Truett community last Wednesday afternoon about one o'clock, following a short illness of approximately one week.
The deceased was the son of Mrs. E. D. Bishop, and was a high school student. He was regarded as being a very fine student by his teachers and fellow students, and _______ing occasions much ______ among them.
Funeral service was held from the Mountain Springs Baptist church on Thursday afternoon at three o'clock, with Rev. Shaddix and Rev. Carter being the officiating ministers. Interment was in the Mountain Springs Cemetery.
Surviving are a mother, two sisters, Mamie and Catherine Edwards; a step-father, E. D. Bishop and two half-brothers, Willard and John Will Bishop.

(Truett) - The many friends were saddened to learn of the death of Mr. Clark Edwards. He had lived in this community quite a while. The bereaved have our sympathy.

(Mt. Springs) - The community was saddened last Wednesday morning when the death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Bishop and carried their son, Clark Edwards, home to rest. His death was caused by a fall on the ice several days ago. Clark was 17 years of age, and attended school at Daviston, and would have been a senior next year. We extend sympathy to the bereaved.
