Ralph W. Brown, Sr., 64, of 446 Oak St., Galesburg, died Wednesday, May 28, 1997, at Cottage Hospital.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, Galesburg, where he was a member. Visitation is one hour prior to services.
Mr. Brown was born June 17, 1932, in Streator, to Roscoe and Esther Hodgson Brown. He married Connie Groff Oct. 15, 1976.
He was a state trooper for the Illinois State Police for 34 years, retiring in 1991. He was a Korean Conflict Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife; son Ralph W. Jr., at home; daughters, Julie Ann Brown, Woodridge, Ill. Erin K., at home; a sister, Marion Woltkamp, East Moline; and a brother, Chauncey Brown, Sun Lake, Ariz.
