Mabel May Russell, age 41, wife of John H. Russell, died at local hospital Wednesday morning. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Jos. King and Geo. Watkins, brothers, E. J. Ledwith, Pueblo, and Ernest A. Ledwith, Emporia, Kans, and sister, Mrs. Beulah Jennings, Pueblo. She was a member of the Evangelical Church. Funeral services wil be held from the Rouch Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at 3:30. Interment will be made in Mountain View Cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel M. Russell were held from the chapel rooms of the Rouch Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at 2:30. Elder J. L. Flygare and Elder J. Croft had charge of the service and Mrs. L. J. Benson, accompanied by Miss M. A. Ririe, sang "Rock of Ages," "I'm a Pilgrim" and "Sometime We'll Understand." The floral contributions carried by Mesdames Clark Elliot, Jack Ashley, Orville Robuck and W. M. French, banking the casket and surrounding it, were silent messengers of the love and esteem in which she was held by her many friends. Those bearing the casket were C. D. Dean, T. M. Meigs, J. L. Meigs, J. W. McFarland, Orville Robuck and Claud Elliott. Interment was made in the family plot in Mountain View cemetery.
