Berna Grace Rouhan of Howard City, Michigan, age 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 26, 2022.
She was born to Angus and Myrtle (Waite) McFarlane on September 28, 1928, in Dutton, Canada. Berna is survived by her children, Sharon (Ken) Rouhan, Teresa (Dave) Brosky, Patrick (Deb) Rouhan, and Daniel (Anne) Rouhan; daughters-in-law, Andrea Dinson and Brenda Rouhan; thirteen grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; and many more friends and family members. She was preceded in death by both parents, Angus and Myrtle; beloved husband, Nathaniel J. Rouhan; and children, John Rouhan and Francis "Frank" Rouhan. The family would like to thank the staff with Angela Hospice for their care and compassion towards Berna.
There will be a time of public visitation from 2:00 pm until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 9596 Reed Rd, Howard City, MI 49329. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022, following a one-hour visitation prior at Christ the King Catholic Church. Rev. James VanderLaan will be presiding. Interment to follow at St. Apollonia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy are encouraged to make a memorial contribution to Christ the King Catholic Church, 9596 Reed Rd, Howard City, MI 49329.
