HETTINGER, Madeleine G. Age 92, of Kettering, passed away March 31, 2013. She was born March 25, 1921 in Brunstatt, France to the late Joseph and Florence Jirousek. In addition to her parents, Madeleine was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Hettinger; infant son, Tommy Martin; daughter, Susan Bovee; sisters: Gabrielle Story and Yvonne Isaacs. Madeleine is survived by her children: Sharon Schrier, Lorraine Kline and Larry (Rosalie) Martin; 9 grandchildren: Shirley, Sandy, Brian, Joe, Angie, Tracie, Katie, Nicole and Tara; 23 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Madeleine was a great artist; she enjoyed painting on china, cross stitching, and crocheting. She was also an avid reader and sang in her church choir. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 12:30-1:30 pm.
