Mrs. Baker was born in Decatur on Aug. 9, 1901, the daughter of Edward H. and Matilda Schieneman Brinkman. She worked as a beauty culture teacher for Edith L. Heller Beauty College and she was the State Board Examiner for Beauty from 1939-1942. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star Owen Scott Chapter.
She married George Don Baker in 1923. He preceded her in death.
Surviving is her brother, Edward G. Brinkman of Evanston. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
