GARREN, MRS. NANNIE MAE, 90, of Chattanooga, died Wednesday in a local nursing home. She was a native of Tellico Plains, Tenn., but had spent most of her life in Chattanooga. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and was the widow of William E. Garren.
Survivors include two daughters, Ella Mae Eckert, Chattanooga; and Mary Jo Prater, Seneca, S C.; two sons, W. A. Garren, San Jose, Calif., and Robert S. Garren, Chattanooga; brother, Fred Adams, Fort Oglethorpe; 15 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dane Morehead officiating. Burial will be in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. Arrangements by the Valley View Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
