PEASE - MURREY (sic). - July 8th, 1893, by Rev. S. Diller, at his residence, Mr. Jacob C. Pease and Miss Emma L. Murrey (sic), both of Franklintown, York county (sic), Pa.

Funeral services for Rev. Jacob C. Pease, retired minister, will be held on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home at 205 East Locust Street, Mechanicsburg, with further services at 2 o'clock in the Church of God there.

Rev. J.O. Weigle, pastor of the Church of God, will officiate, assisted by Rev. Strine, pastor of the United Brethren Church in Manchester, York County, Burial will be in the Mechanicsburg Cemetery. The services at the home will be private.

Rev. Pease died Sunday at his home following an illness of fourteen weeks. He was 69 years old. He had resided in Mechanicsburg for the last fifteen years and freuently filled the pulpit of the Church of God. He was a former pastor of the United Brethren Church in Halifax for twelve years and at one time served Reformed and Church of God charges. He was a member of the P. O. S. of A. Lodge, at Halifax.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emma L. Pease; one son, Parker Pease, of Mechanicsburg; three brothers, Peter, of Siddonsburg; William, of Marysville; Philip, of Mechanicsburg; three sisters, Mrs. Harry Lucas and Mrs. John Rhinehart, both of near Dillsburg, and Miss Tressie Pease, of Nebraska.
