Hubert was born March 25, 1938, in Clovis, N.M., to Harry B. Green and Dorothea Benger Green.
He was preceded in death by his parents a brother, Doyle Leon Green.
Survivors include one sister, Wanette Burrow and husband Dave of Stillwater, Okla.; a brother Richard Green and wife Linda of Mobile, Ala.; two sons, Glen P. Green and wife Julie of Canton, Ga., and David W. Green of Denver; a daughter, Libby Ann Green and husband John Conlin of Denver; three grandchildren, Molly Rochelle Green and Zoe Rose Green, both of Canton and Dale Edward Green of Denver.
The family suggests memorials be to Samaritan's Purse, Healing the Wounds of War (Operation Heal Our Patriots) at www.samaritanspurse.org; or Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
