Tillman "Till" Hayes Fonnesbeck

Tillman was the second child of Carl Max Troels Fonnesbeck and Zella Dell Bissegger Fonnesbeck. Zella named him after her little brother, Joseph Tillman, who died as a baby.

During WWII Tillman served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps. He met Suzanne Duval in Paris after the Allies had freed Occupied Paris. When she returned to the U.S. after the War, they were reunited and later married. They have three daughters, Patricia, Annette, and Jacqueline; and three grandsons, Jeremy, Jamison, and Tillman.

Tillman also was part owner of Fonnesbeck Electric in Idaho Falls with his brothers Max, who founded Fonnesbeck Appliance and Service which later between them became Fonnesbeck Construction. Delbert, who was the company bookkeeper, is also buried very near Till. The two brothers are still together.

Till loved animals. He enjoyed cats and their personalities and through him we learned to observe and be entranced by them.

He was a true gentleman and a good and very funny man. Man, I miss him!
