St. John's choir sang requiem mass, directed by Rev. M. L. Plauche and assisted by the choirs from Leesville and Natchitoches. Miss Lois Watson of Leesville sang the "Veni Jesu" during the offertory of the mass. Rev. M. L. Plauche rendered most beautifully the "Dres Irae" in Gregorian chant.
