Lawrence C. Walker, 85, of 201 West Girard Road, Coldwater, died Friday, December 21, 1990, at Community Health Center of Branch County. He was born in Bethel Township, Branch County,and was a life resident of the county, living in Girard the past 45 years. He worked for Branch County Road Commission and was a self-employed electrician. He retired from Union Pump Company of Battle Creek. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Coldwater. He is survived by two sons, Edward Walker and Lawrence H. Walker, both of Girard; three daughters, Janet Bible, of Coldwater, Virginia Brassel, of Jackson, and Beverly Coats, of Girard; 13 grandchildren, two step-grandsons and ten great-grandchildren. His wife, the former Arelene Knapp, died in August 1984. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Gillespie Funeral Home.
