Mrs. Wheeling was born in Bradleytown, September 5, 1870, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Shields. She was married to Mr. Wheeling on February 19, 1887. Besides the husband, she leaves the following children: Robert Wheeling and Mrs. Vivian Eddy of Titusville; Joseph and Edgar Wheeling of North Dakota; Pvt. Allen E.
