Mrs. Vivian L. Eddy, 91, formerly of Main Street, Hydetown, died... Monday, Aug. 31, 1987, at Titusville Area Hospital where she had been a patient for a week. Mrs. Eddy had resided at Sunset Manor for the past four years.
Mrs. Eddy was born Sept. 21, 1895, in Plum Township, Venango County, the daughter of the late Allen and Effie Shields. She married Mearle M. Eddy on Nov. 17, 1914, in Meadville. Mr. Eddy died June 1, 1961.
Mr. and Mrs. Eddy owned and operated the Hydetown grocery store in the early 1940s. Mrs. Eddy was a member of the Hydetown United Methodist Church....
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Floyd on May 27, 1987, and five brothers, Joseph, Robert, Orman, Frank and Edward Wheeling.... Interment will be in the Troy Center Cemetery...
