Mary A Jenkins, age 87, of Norwalk, passed away Friday, March 29, 2013 at Gaymont Nursing Center.
She was born December 30, 1925 in Knox county, the daughter of Alva and Martha (Marts) Snyder. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, fishing and attending country music shows.
She is survived by her companion of 40 years, George Hartman; daughters, Joyce Hartle of Sandusky and Linda Herner of Athens; sisters, Helen Oney of Huron and Velma Hunt of Mt. Vernon; brothers, Ralph Snyder of Fredericktown and Don Snyder of Jelloway; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Riley; son, Gerald Jenkins; parents, Alva and Martha Snyder; brothers, Clarence Snyder and Roy Snyder and her twin sister Betty.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be held at a later date in Fredericktown, Ohio.
