Alice H. Ferguson, 89, Lincoln, formerly of Bloomington, passed away at 1:50 p.m. March 20, 2013, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.
She was born Aug. 31, 1923 in LeRoy, daughter of Louis and Lenora Strange Hoover. She married Eugene W. Ferguson on Sept. 8, 1946. He preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings, William Hoover, Juanita Carver, Jack Hoover, Martha Underwood and Donald Hoover.
Surviving are two sons, Scott (Karen) Ferguson and Gary (Barbara) Ferguson; grandchildren, Marcus (Jessica) Ferguson, Erik Ferguson, Heather Gardner, Timothy Ferguson and Shane Ferguson; two great-granddaughters, Melinda and Sophia; seven step-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren and one sister, Mary Williams.
