Mrs. S. F. Boyd.
Mrs. Mattie Holliday Boyd, aged 51 years wife of S. F. Boyd of Volant died Thursday, November 10 at 3:30 p.m. after an illness of three weeks. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Holliday who survive her. Mrs. Boyd was a member of the Volant Methodist church and besides her husband and parents is survived by four children, Wylda, Williard, Russell and Betty; also two sisters, Miss Flora Holliday of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Thomas Rumbaugh of Grove City. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 from the Volant M. E. church. Burial will be made in the U. P. cemetery at Plaingrove.
