Vernon Dolbeer, 125 Walnut St. died this morning in the Carlisle Hospital. He was 75.

Born in Jeffersontown, Ky., he was a son of the late Rev. Dr. William and Liza Walters Dolbeer. He lived in Carlisle since 1922. He formerly lived in Mt. Holly Springs where his father was pastor of the Lutheran Church.

Employed as an electrician at C. H. Masland and Sons, he was retired in 1961 after 33 years with the company. He was a member of the Masland 25-Year Club; the First Luthern Church where he was a former teacher of the Men's Bible Class; the Cumberland Star Lodge No. 197 F and A. M.; St John's Royal Arch Chapter No. 171. and the Retired Men's Club of the YMCA.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Wetzel Dolbeer; one daughter, Mrs. E. Euxine Hankins, Carlisle, three sons; Charles W, Wayne, N.J., Richard H., Aurora, Colo., and Joseph E., San Francisco, Calif.; one brother, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther Dolbeer, Thiel College, Greenville, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Fred Dolton. New Port Richey, Fla., five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Cumberland Star Lodge will conduct a service at 9 p.m. Saturday.
