Miss Margery O. Lombard died at her home in this city Tuesday, February 27, at 1:45 a.m., at the age of 76 years. She was born January 8, 1875, a daughter of F. G. and Margery J. Lombard, of Waverly.
Deceased is survived by one sister, Miss Caroline Lombard, and one niece, Mrs. Robert Etter, both of Waverly.
She was a member of the Waverly Christian Church.
Funeral services were held at the Wiese Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock, Rev.Bronson N. Smith, pastor of Methodist church, officiating.
Interment was in East cemetery.

Mrs. Margery Lombard Passed Away

Mrs. Margery Lombard, one of Waverly's highly respected citizens died at her home in this city about 5:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, after a lingering illness of a year's duration. The last week of her life, Mrs. Lombard was confined to her bed and it was realized by her family that the end would soon come.
Margery J. Harney was born Oct. 9, 1838 at Mt. Sterling, Illinois, and died at her home in Waverly, Illinois June 18, 1912, aged 73 years, 8 months and 9 days. When a child she moved to Franklin where she resided until her marriage to F. G. Lombard may 15, 1856. Mr. and Mrs. Lombard made their home in this city, where they lived happily together until Mr. Lombard's death, June 28, 1898. Since her husband's death, Mrs. Lombard has made her home with her daughters, Misses Madge and Caroline Lombard. She was a consistent christian, being one of the oldest members of the Christian church in this city.
At the time of her death there were with Mrs. Lombard her five children, W. E., Frank H., Joe B., Misses Madge and Caroline Lombard, sister Mrs. Paulina Wright and brother George Harney.
Funeral services were conducted at the residence Thursday afternoon June 20th, at 4 o'clock, in charge of Rev. Guy B. Williamson. Interment was in East cemetery.
