Funeral services were held Sunday at the Ocheyedan Lutheran church for Mrs. A. Palenske who passed away Wednesday morning at her home following a long illness suffering from cancer.
Mrs. Palenske was among the old residents of this community and died at the age of 77 years. Burial was made in the Ocheyedan cemetery beside her husband.
Pvt. H.C. Palenske of Mather Field, Sacramento, Calif., Leo Palenske of Grand Park, Ill., and Mrs. Harry Wehrman of Beecher, Ill., attended the funeral services.
