Edward Clemence Felkins, 78, died last night in his home on E. 13th St. in Live Oak. Death followed a lingering illness.

He had been a resident of Live Oak for the past 12 years and was a resident of Gridley prior to moving to Live Oak. he was a retired Kansas farmer.

Felkins was a member of the Live Oak Nazarene Church and is survived by his wife, Millie Leona Felkins of Live Oak; three daughters, Mrs. Emma E. Austin of LeMarr, Colo., Mrs. Elsie Gertman of Samuels, Ida., and Mrs. Louis Looney of Yuba City; nine sons, Lemro? of Ashland, Kan., Everett of Clearlake, Ross and Forest of Gridley, Paul of Williams, Jesse of Willits, Lowell of Fort Bragg, Henry of Washington, and Reese of Meridian; 35 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Services will be conducted under the direction of the Block Funeral Home in Gridley at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Live Oak First Nazarene Church, with Rev. Berkley, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Live Oak Cemetery.
