Anderson - Our beloved father, Robert (Bob) K. Jarvis, 84, of Anderson, passed away
peacefully on March 24, 2013, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
Dad was born in Anderson on April 27, 1928 to Harry and Lilly (Stottlemyer) Jarvis where he
resided most of his life. During his lifetime he was employed with the New York Central Railroad,
Madison County Lumber Company, Delco Remy, Anderson Newspaper and retired from Anderson Bank
after 20 years of service. After his retirement he continued to work. While living at Beverly Terrace Apartments he became the building maintenance man. He was also an excellent painter throughout the years.
Dad is survived by his sons, Rodney Jarvis of Oregon, Ronald Dennis and Robert Allan Jarvis of Anderson.
Daughter, Denise (John) Blevins of Anderson. Brothers, Paul (Jean) Jarvis of Anderson and Harry Jarvis of South Carolina.
There are a total of 11) grandchildren, 13) great-grandchildren and 1) great-great grandchild to carry on his
legacy, and whom he cherished very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sandra; son, Ricki Lynn; granddaughter Devin Renee; and 6)
brothers and 4) sisters.
