Funeral services for Earl A. Leus, 55, of Webster, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 1998, at the Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel in Needville. The Rev. George Kuebler officiated. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery in Rosenberg. Serving as pallbearers were Norman Maxwell, Edward Klawitter, Eddie Fram, James Freund, Leroy Kohleffel, and Virgil Leus.
Mr. Leus passed away July 22, 1998 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was the owner of Bay Area Office Machines for over 20 years. In previous years, he was a volunteer and president of the Webster Volunteer Fire Department.
Earl will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary Leus; son, Jim Leus and wife, Renee; daughter, Jan Leus Hunt and husband, Lee; three grandchildren, Paschall and Kristen Leus and Justin Lee Henry Hunt; two brothers, Hayden Leus and wife, Merylyn and Norman Leus and wife, Jackie; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends, and Southwestern Bell family.
Earl was preceded in passing by his parents, Emil and Ada Leus.
Services are under the direction of Garmany & Carden Funeral Dirs., Inc., 3103 School St., Needville, Texas 77461.
