JOHN LOWTHER, a well known Wilmingtonian, died at his home, 1706 Pennsylvania ave, Tuesday night, aged 79 years. Mr. Lowther was a veteran of the Civil War, having been a member of the First Delaware Battery. His funeral will take place on Friday afternoon, with interment in Mt. Salem cemetery.
