OBITUARY
Funeral Services
For Mrs. Epps To
Be Held Tuesday
Died At Sawdust; to
Be Buried at Pleasant Grove.
Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Epps, 71, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Watkins, at Sawdust, GA, Saturday, will be held in the Pleasant Grove Baptist church, Neese, Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Rev. G. W. Wallace, pastor, will conduct the services. The following will serve as pallbearers: homer Epps, Linton Epps, Curtis Epps, Bill Poss, and Grady Fouch. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, with McDorman Bridges in charge.
Surviving Mrs. Epps are two daughters, Mrs. A. W. Gray*, Commerce, and Mrs. Fred Watkins, Sawdust, three sons, Oscar Epps, Athens; George and Blair* Epps, Blain of Sawdust; two brothers, Jack Fields, Athens and W.M. Fields, Sawdust.
Mrs. Epps, widow of the late J. M. Epps, a Confederate veteran, was: Miss Martha Cook **, a native of Union county, before her marriage. She had lived in Madison county for the past 25 years, and was well known. She was a member of one of Georgia's oldest families.
