Susannah Jackson ALLEN one of the Mother's of the Republic of Texas was living in San Augustine in 1840 and in Anderson Co in 1850 and 1855 with her son Jesse J ALLEN. In 1860, she was living with her son John ALLEN in Houston Co, TX. She is likely buried by her husband in San Augustine Co, Tx. Susan did leave a will where she listed each and every living child in 1864.
