ROSCOE PERKKINS - 90, of Fort Smith, died Monday, October 9, 1989, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a retired postmaster in Ratcliff, a World War I veteran of the Army Air Corps, a member of the DAV and a member of First Baptist Church.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by four daughters, Kathleen Fortner, Bess Brown and Lea Muck, of all Fort Smith, and Rhea Lowder of Charleston; three sons, Wayne of Midwest City, Cy of Oklahoma City, and Michael of Corpus Christi, texas; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church.
