Linda Lou Ash Wilson, 64, of Baxter, passed away Wednesday (March 17, 2010) at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 18, 1945, in Fairmont, daughter of the late James George Ash and Priscilla Lorraine Walker Ash.

Mrs. Wilson owned and operated Linda's Beauty Shop in Rivesville for 40 years. She was a Methodist by faith. Mrs. Wilson was a 1963 graduate of Rivesville High School and graduated from Morgantown Beauty Academy. She was a member of the ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 629 of Fairmont, and was a former member of the Ponderosa Riding Club and the Street Cruisers car club.

Survivors include her husband, Everett Earl "Ed" Wilson of Baxter; a son, Dustin James Wilson of Baxter; a daughter, Kristyn Lorraine Wilson of Rivesville; a sister and her husband, Joyce and Denzil Ogden of Barrackville; a grandson, Cody James Wilson of Bellview Community; three nephews and their spouses, Chad and Lisha Ogden of Frederick, Md., Todd and Shelly Ogden of Fairmont, and Benjamin and Andrea Gandy of Washington, Pa.

Friends may call at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, Jasper Street, Rivesville, from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, from 1-8 p.m. Sunday, and noon to 1 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Monday with Pastor Scott Krepps officiating. Burial will follow in Arnettsville Cemetery in Arnettsville.
