Homer was born March 11, 1911 in Nampa, a son of Harvey R. and Eva Morton Leslie, and grew up and attended schools here and graduated from Nampa High School. Prior to high school he atttended various elementary schools throughout Idaho where his mother taught in one-room schools. He later worked as a truck driver for C. B. Oil Company for 33 years. He married Mildred Baltazor November 21, 1940 in Nampa where they made their home. In 1963 he built the Leslie-Jones Conoco Station together with an associate Blair Jones and he worked there until retiring in 1975.
Survivors include one son, Hugh R. Leslie of Medford, Oregon; one daughter and son-in-law, Vicki Lynn and Daniel Crank of New Plymouth; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
