Mildred B. Leslie, 81, of Nampa died Monday, April 5, 1993, in a Nampa Care Center.

Mrs Leslie was born April 26,1911 at Nampa, a daughter of Walter L.and Ora Belle Lynn Baltazor. She grew up and attended schools in Nampa, graduating from Nampa High School. She then received nurses training at Mercy Hospital in Nampa and Administration training in Los Angeles. Mildred returned to Nampa and worked at Mercy Hospital. She married Homer P. Leslie on November 21, 1940 at Nampa where they made their home. During the polio epidemic she worked at Polio Convalescent Home for Children in Boise, She also worked many private duty nursing assignments before she retired.

She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and the Third Order of Mary, Legion of Mary, and of several nursing asssociations.

Survivors include her husband, Homer, of Nampa; a son, Hugh R. Leslie of Medford, Oregon; a daughter, Vicki L. Crank of New Plymouth; a sister, Violet Mason of Nampa, six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was proceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
