WOODLAND - Funeral services for Richard Lee Dixon, 18, of Bishtown, Woodland R.D. who was killed instantly in a coal mine rock fall yesterday morning, will be held Thursday, May 11, at 2 p.m. from the Nicholson Funearal Home in Clearfield. Rev. Paul Mackey will officiate and interment will be in the Summit Hill Cemetery.
He was born in Philipsburg Jan. 4, 1931, a son of Robert and Edna Stiner Dixon.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother, Leroy, and two sisters, Barbara and Beverly, all at home.
Friends will be received at the funeral home this evening and until time of the service.
