Ida May (Craft) Leming, 71, wife of Temple Leming of Rt. 2, was suddenly stricken with a fatal illness Thursday, July 11, 1963, in the family home six miles north of Lafayette on Indiana 43. She died in St. Elizabeth Hospital at 8:20 PM, less than an hour after she was admitted. She left 93 descendants.

Born at West Liberty, KY, she lived in the Lafayette community for 50 years and was married in 1912. Her husband is a retired carpenter.

Surviving with her husband are six daughters, Mrs. Harry (Florence "Sis") Foust of Rt. 1, West Point, Mrs. Charles (Floriene) Slayton, Mrs. Bernard (Edna) Cooper, Mrs. Ray (Dixie) Cavanaugh, all of Rt. 3, Lafayette, Mrs. Ralph (Loretta) Fultz of Dayton, and Mrs. V.E. (Betty Jane) Collins of Clarks Hill; four sons, Manford C. Leming of Rt. 2, Brookston, Millard C. Leming, Charles K. Leming, both of Rt. 2, Lafayette, and Eugene Leming of Lafayette; two sisters, Mrs. Susan Strange of Pound, VA, and Miss Sarah Frances Craft of Hindsboro, IL; 51 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Service July 15 at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, the Rev. Joseph G. Wick officiating; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
