Millard Temple Leming, 79, of Rt. 2, West Lafayette, two and a half miles west of Battle Ground, died at 1:05 AM Friday, June 20, 1969, at St. Elizabeth Hospital following a three year illness. Born in Tippecanoe County, he was a lifetime resident. He married Ida May Craft, in Monticello, in 1912; she died in 1963.

Mr. Leming was a retired carpenter and had operated a contracting firm prior to his retirement in 1955.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Harry (Florence "Sis") Foust of Rt. 1, West Point, Mrs. Charles (Floriene) Slayton of Rt. 2, West Lafayette, Mrs. Edna Cooper of Lafayette, Mrs. Ralph (Loretta) Fultz of Dayton, Mrs. V.E. (Betty Jane) Collins of Loughton, OK, and Mrs. Ray (Dixie) Cavanaugh of Rt. 12, Lafayette; four sons, Manford C. Leming of Lafayette, Millard C. Leming of Rt. 1, Mulberry, Charles K. Leming of Battle Ground, and Eugene Leming of Rt. 1, Rossville; a sister, Mrs. Wilbur (Nettie) Tyrie of Lafayette; 69 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren.
Service June 23, Soller-Baker Main Chapel, the Rev. Joseph G. Wick officiating; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
