Bonnie Ester McDaris Metcalf, 92, of 885 Bone Camp Road, Marshall, N.C. died Sunday, May 23, 1999.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Madison County, N.C. and she was a member of Bull Creek Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Zachary McDaris and Sarah Radford McDaris and wife of the late Ernest Arretus Metcalf, who died in 1976.
She was survived by a daughter, Ruby Jo Grady of Clifton, Colorado; grandchildren, Cheryl Grady, Jane Grady, Jeff Grady and Carol Grady; and great-grandchildren, Taylor, Nicholas and Kurtis Grady.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, 1999 at Bull Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. David Bevil officiating. Capps Funeral Home of Mars Hill, N.C. handled the arrangements. Burial was in Bull Creek Baptist Church cemetery.
